Personal Travel Favorites

When I was looking on the internet for travel inspiration, I found this travel tag. I love to think about travels and places to discover in the future, so it was really a must  to answer the questions.

 Favorite hotel?

My favorite hotel is Dream Gran Castillo on the island of Lanzarote. It’s such a beautiful hotel where I can take my rest and enjoy the sun and delicious food. The staff is so friendly. The surroundings are beautiful. You can read more about it here.

Favorite travel-friendly beauty product?

I always use mascara that lasts for three days (Lancome). I discovered it two years ago and I take it always with me on holidays.

Favorite destination?

Spain (Lanzarote, Alicante) and France (Cote d’Azur, Paris).

Favorite place to shop?

I love to shop in Amsterdam, Maastricht, Antwerp and Paris. I love the variety of shops and the less known shops to discover unique pieces.

Favorite destination to relax?

I love the sea and beach but I can also relax when I participate in activities. Walking,

sightseeing, discovering new places…

Craziest thing you’ve ever eaten?

When I was 18 years old, I I made a trip to Israel with a group. For dinner I get camel meat. But I didn’t know beforehand. Fortunately they told me when my plate was empty! (it looks like chicken, so I had no idea at all!)

What do you take always with you on holidays?

My notebook to write down my holiday memories, sun crème, sunglasses, E-reader and magazines.

Best meal ever eaten and where?

The best meal was in Saint Paul de Vence in the South of France a few years ago in restaurant Le Tilleul. My husband and I enjoyed their homemade lasagna. The best lasagna we have ever tasted!

The top layer was covered with Provencal herbs. It was delicious! This year we went back. The lasagna is still on the menu. The recipe has changed, but still a must!

What can you attract the best in the plane?

I always wear my favorite jeans, sneakers, shirt and a fashionable sweater that I can take off when we are at our destination where it is always warm.

What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done?

I’m not the type to do scary things. Maybe boring, but I really do not do things that I do not dare 🙂
