Parisienne Diary | Christmas in Paris
The year is almost come to an end. It’s almost unbelievable. Do you have the same feeling? This time I will tell you in my Parisienne Diary about Christmas in Paris…
In a week we’ll celebrate Christmas. The streets and shops in Paris are a feast for the eye. Each year, I admire with astonishment the decorations and all the hours of work. One of my favorite is Galerie Lafayette. Especially the window displays are wonderful. I am hours on my way because I stop by every window display 🙂
What to do in Paris?
Last weekend, I went on Christmas gifts shopping. This year, I will celebrate Christmas in Holland. The day before Christmas, I will take the Thalys (with all my bags! :)) and leave my beloved Paris for a few days. I can’t wait to see everyone and spend some time with family and friends and to enjoy the delicious meals and listen to all the stories from this year under the Christmas tree (and eating too much cookies :)).
But now I am enjoying Paris. The City of Lights with all of these wonderful Christmas decorations. Place Vendome has beautiful Christmas trees and there a lot of markets to visit and get inspired for home decorations or gifts. I went ice skating on the Eiffel Tower! That was awesome! There are more ice rinks this year in Paris. It was a wonderful experience and we had a lot of fun!
I made long strolls in the freezing weather. I took my camera and captured Paris during these cold days. I and try to finish all my tasks at work.
In my last diary of this year I will tell you more about my plans and dreams. So stay tuned :). For now, I wish you a Merry Christmas!
What are your Christmas plans this year?
