On the Coffee table: Presents
Welcome to On the Coffee table: Presents. Each month I will share my favorite things and show them on the coffee table. This month’s coffee table offers items which I got under the Christmas tree.
I am very happy with my presents. I love the Parisian mug and bowl of Blond Amsterdam. I always put books on my Christmas wish list and this time I got the illustrated story of Coco Chanel by Megan Hess. I love her illustrations very much! Candles are my favorite, a Nivea shower gel for a Diamond touch and also the amaryllis flower. It is always exciting if this flower will bloom, but I think this one will this time!
I also love brocante and this magazine contains stories of brocante lovers and beautiful photography.
From my husband I got my favorite perfume: Coco Mademoiselle. Just perfect!👌🏻
My Parisian breakfast with this mug and bowl. Each morning it feels I am in Paris 🙂
I was looking for a little purse, and this one of Guess, was exactly what I wished for!
A few months ago, I published a book review of the first book of Ella Carey, Paris Time Capsule. This is the second book with Cat Jordan in the lead and the mystery of Marthe de Florian and her family…
New Yorkbased photographer Cat Jordan is ready to begin a new life with her successful, button-down boyfriend. But when she learns that shes inherited the estate of a complete strangera woman named Isabelle de Florianher life is turned upside down.
Cat arrives in Paris to find that she is now the owner of a perfectly preserved Belle Époque apartment in the ninth arrondissement, and that the Frenchwomans family knew nothing about this secret estate. Amid these strange developments, Cat is left with burning questions: Who was Isabelle de Florian? And why did she leave the inheritance to Cat instead of her own family? (source: Bol.com)
I can’t wait to read this book!
