My Plans for Paris
Within a week I will board the Thalys to spend three whole days in the city of lights! I could not be happier at this moment with this wonderful prospect. I realize that I have to much plans in my head what I would like to do, so I will share here my plans for Paris.
Our hotel (Carina Tour Eiffel in the 15 eme) is situated only 10 minutes from the Eiffel Tower by foot, so it is a tradition to stroll first to this famous tower, to make photos and enjoy this Parisian hotspot.
I would like to have lunch at Cafe de Marche in Rue Cler. Rue Cler is a street full of food shops and tres tres Parisian.
Hopefully, the weather will be good, so that I can stroll throug Jardin du Luxembourg and sit in one of the chairs.
We will have breakfast in the hotel (looking forward to enjoy croissants again!). I would like to explore Montmartre and especially to take a photo from Place Dalida. From there you have a splendid view on the Sacre Coeur. It is a part of Montmartre which I have never seen, so lot to discover new Parisian gems!
I always had the Ile Saint Louis on my wish list and also Place Dauphine on my wishlist. To enjoy a drink at Cafe St. Regis for example. Hopefully I can combine it with Montmartre.
Saint Germain des Pres
I am not been in Paris, without exploring Saint Germain de Pres. The last time I was there, the famous Cafe de Flore was closed, so I have to come back! For me as a writer, this place is such inspiring and I hope I can get a table there to feel like a real Parisienne.
My favorite Tea shop “Lupica” is situated in rue Bonaparte, not far from Cafe de Flore, which sells tea in beautiful tins. I collect them! This one is on my wish list right now.
Where to have dinner in Paris? There is so much choicem but I have put some brasseries on my wish list, like l’Editeur, Les Deux Magots, Brasserie Lipp or Le Petit Cler.
Sunday, our last day in Paris, I would like to spend in the Marais, because here are the shops open and I just love to stroll around this inspiring quartier. To enjoy tea at Cafe Carette, chilling on the Place des Vosges in the sun. Just enjoy the Parisian life and get inspired for this blog! 🙂
Have you ever been in Paris?
