Early morning in Amsterdam
A foggy morning in Amsterdam in November…I love Amsterdam in all her settings, but during this morning, Amsterdam was a very small city. There was so much fog, but I didn’t care. The city was extremely calm and it was lovely to stroll around and hearing almost nothing. It felt like I was not in a big city at that moment but somewhere else. I took my camera and made so much photos that it was hard to make a selection for this post. Lovely to see the city in other setting and to discover new places. Amsterdam is beautiful, even when it rains, snows, during sunny days or cloudy days. But this time I discovered a very different Amsterdam. Quiet, restrained, gray, but even beautiful.
I’ve been coming here for 22 years now and you are still able to surprise me!
We lunched at “Brasserie Blazer” a very cozy spot on the Lijnbaansgracht 90. After this delicious lunch, we walked along the canals and enjoyed a drink at New Bar Dorrius on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal 5.
During the afternoon, the sun was shining and after a short shopping trip, we enjoyed a drink at “Le Pub” at the Leidseplein. We end this wonderful day with a dinner at a pizzeria!
