It’s time for a new edition of Parisian Things! Paris is the place where I get so much inspiration. When I am walking through the quartiers, the city tells his story itself. A sunny afternoon, strolling to the quartier Latin, to buy a book at Shakespeare and Company, admiring the Notre Dame and then it’s time for pastries and other delicious food in Rue Mouffetard. During this walk, I feel blessed and cheerful by seeing so much blossom trees. Spring is back in Paris! Sitting in the sun near the Louvre Museum and seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the sun.
Paris, je t’aime!

Pastries in Rue Mouffetard. This is one of my tips when you are visiting Paris. Rue Mouffetard is one of the oldest streets in Paris. You can find this lifely street, with café, shops, market and restaurants in the 5 arrondissement.

Notre Dame in the sun. I love this area. Across the street you find my favorite bookshop, Shakespeare & Company.

The square of the Louvre. Lovely to sit here in the sun and watching people.

The Eiffel Tower in the sun. The Eiffel Tower is always the first stop when we are in Paris. It gives me the real “Parisian” feeling.

What’s your favorite place in Paris?

  1. Beautiful photos Darina.

I agree 'Rue Mouffetard' in the 5ème is great, but I would also recommend visiting the 6ème district as this is a great place for shopping, and of course the Marais (4ème), where the macarons in the Place des Vosges are amazing also:)
