Last week you could read my adventures in Barcelona. Today I will share part 2 of my Barcelona photo diary.
5 Days in Barcelona | Part 2
Day 4 / Friday
A rainy day.
Because of the terrible weather, we visited the sea aquarium. It was lovely to see so many kinds of fishes and the sharks. I could spend hours watching these fishes with so many colors and sizes. This Museum is a perfect getaway for nature lovers and when it is raining 🙂
In the afternoon we went to The Design Museum which included a fashion department. I love to photograph fashion so this was perfect. The theme was “Dressing the body. Silhouettes and fashion (1550-2015)” like they say on the website: The exhibition Dressing the Body sets out to show how clothes modify the appearance of the body by way of actions that have alternately tended to compress it and liberate it, from the sixteenth century to the present.
A cultural and wonderful day which we ended at the Aperol Spritz Bar near the port of Barcelona.
Day 5 / Saturday
Exploring the Gracia district
The sun is back and the plan is to explore the Gràcia district. In the past, this was a village that was later added to the city. A village with a cozy atmosphere. At Placa de la Vila de Gràcia we spend some time in the sun and have a delicious lunch. We walk back through Passeig de Gracia and arrive again at Place Reial for a drink.
This was a relaxed last day in Barcelona that we celebrated with a nice dinner and the fountain show at Font Magica in the evening
The next day it was time to leave for our next destination: Alicante! Next week, I will publish my photo diary of our 5 days in Alicante.
My impression of Barcelona is very good! A city that I didn’t know because I had to look a lot on Google Maps. We had 5 days in Barcelona so we could do everything at ease. It is after all holiday! In advance, I had read a bit about Barcelona, but not too much because I do not like that 🙂 and love the surprises a new city has for me.
Have you ever been to Barcelona? If so, what did you like the most?
