Keeping Up Writing on Holiday

Keeping Up Writing on Holiday

Keeping up writing on holiday

A personal note from me today about keeping up writing on holiday. I love to go on holiday! But how do I combine this with writing? The daily routine is so different when I am on holiday, then my everyday life at home, I have so much time more to work on my story.

I write better when I’m not too much distracted. Distracted in the way of: I must do this or that. That’s what happened often when you are at home and that’s something what you can not avoid. That’s why I plan my writing days. I don’t love to plan too much in my life but this is an exception. Writing a book is something which I need a routine to stay connected with the story and the characters.

Meditation by the Sea

Meditation by the Sea

Meditation by the sea

The sea and the beach…from the first time I went to the beach and swam in the sea, I was happy. The sea makes me calm. I love to make long walks, whether it is summer or winter.

The sea is unique every moment of the day. There is always sound and motion, which I always compare with life. The sea is fascinating. When I’m at sea, I think about everything. The soothing sound of the roar of the sea. The vastness of this nature. The sea air. I’m always relaxed when I make a day trip to the sea.

10 Tips to visit Nice

Nice, in the South of France, is named also the “Pearl of the Cote d’Azur” Why is that? I will give you 10 tips to visit Nice. I will tell you and I hope you will be even so enthusiatic as I am!

1. Nice is located on the Mediterranean sea and has beautiful pebble beaches (Castel Plage has a sand beach). Along the sea, you find the “Promenade des Anglais” where you can walk along the coast line and enjoy the sea view.

2. I love the atmosphere of this city. Nice is a big city but has many places where you can rest for a while, for example in the beautiful parks.

Parisienne Diary | Paris in September

Paris in September…it’s just like a new year started. Not on the 1st of January but in September. Holidays are over. The streets are full of Parisians, sun burned and full of new energy (I don’t felt that way when I returned from Provence :)). The schools started again, everything and everyone is back to everyday life 🙂

10 Ways To Enjoy an Indian Summer

Summer came late this year, so now we can enjoy an Indian Summer. I really like that, because I don’t like the winter, the longer this season stays away, the better (for me). I take always two week holiday in September to avoid the crowds which you have in the high season and the lower prices. And because of the weather naturellement .

1. Live your life outdoors, whatever you like to do, live outdoors and enjoy!

2. Plan citytrips (just like I do in September). The cities are less crowd and so you can enjoy it to the fullest!
