13 Paris Essentials
Packing for a citytrip is always a real challenge for me. I always pack too much because I always think: “What if…” Packing is a very personal thing also, but I would like to inspire you for your next citytrip to the city of lights with my Paris Essentials. This time I will share the “basis” essentials.
This is one of the most classical items to wear. You can style this coat in many different ways.
Casual, chic….it’s one of the items which belongs in a French wardrobe.
I love to wear ballerina shoes during Spring and Summer season. This ballerina’s are from H&M and I can walk for hours.
It’s also easy to combine with a skirt, skinny jeans, a dress….
Chanel No.5….do I need to say more? 🙂
I bought this clutch last Summer to use it for my (airplane) tickets and passport and keys. But it is also a perfect bag during Parisian evenings, strolling along the Seine…
This is the camera (Nikon Coolpix S9500) which I use the most, apart from my IPhone camera.
A little bit old fashioned, but I always use a paper edition city map.
Before we travel to Paris, I highlight the streets/hotspots which I would like to visit to map out our way.

When I am in Paris, I always buy the “Pariscope” to see what’s happening in the city in the field of culture, movies, restaurants, cafe’s, shops and many more.

In Paris, I use the Moleskine City, Paris version to write down what we saw, (new) addresses of restaurants, cafe’s, shops…
I always buy some metro tickets in case of rain or tired feet 🙂
Paris, c’est chic is a book of the “Do it in Paris” online guide, with lovely addresses in the city.
Not so much…Chanel mascara, Bourjois blush and lipstick…that’s enough for me!
I am so happy with my Fossil watch which I got for my birthday, two years ago…always on time in Paris!
